This statement governs the privacy policy of Quality Systems Consultants Ltd (QSC) with respect to its clients and contacts and the use of qscltd.com website. We respect and value the privacy of all of our clients and will only collect and use the personal data necessary in order to fulfil our contracts and obligations and in accordance with your rights under law.

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, business name, job title and profession. Personally Identifiable Information does not include information that is collected anonymously (that is, without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual.

WHAT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION DOES QSC COLLECT?

We collect public information from clients and potential clients. We also collect the following additional information from clients: the names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of individual contacts (as provided by them or their colleagues) and operational information about businesses (provided by the owners/employees of those businesses or which is publicly available).

WHAT OTHER ORGANISATIONS COLLECT INFORMATION ON OUR BEHALF?

We use contracted consultants to act on behalf of QSC. Information about QSC clients and contacts is collected by, for and shared between QSC and these consultants.

HOW DOES QSC USE PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION?

QSC must always have a lawful basis for using personal data. We collect and retain information about individual clients and the businesses they work for in order to manage accounts, provide agreed services, to determine which services we will develop and who may be interested in them. We also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact clients or potential clients in response to enquiries or to provide requested information.

WITH WHOM MAY THE INFORMATION BE SHARED?

Personally Identifiable Information is shared only with our consultants and with QSC employees. We may effect an introduction between contacts in our database, but this would be done transparently and with the prior agreement of both/all parties.

HOW IS PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION STORED AND SECURED?

Personally Identifiable Information collected by QSC is stored within secure, password protected proprietary software and any paper format files are stored in secure lockable cabinets. Everyone working within or for QSC is familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information we hold is only accessible to those who are given a password in order to gain access to the information or by the consultant contracted to carry out work on our behalf.

HOW TO CORRECT ANY INACCURACIES IN PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Anyone whose information we hold may contact us to update Personally Identifiable Information about them or to correct any inaccuracies.

HOW TO HAVE PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION DELETED

QSC will delete information about any individual on request, except that which is available in the public domain or which QSC is required to keep for legal or tax purposes. Such requests will be handled personally by QSC employees and we will not use the Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.
